Google it.
Recycling is somewhat related to caring for our environment.
There’s been hundreds of reports at the UN accusing our Jewish friends for using the “bunker-buster” missiles to destroy the homes of the native people in Palestine. (You can read this: http://acdn.france.free.fr/spip/article.php3?id_article=475&lang=en )
And to make bad things worse, these GBU-39's, which are US-made bombs, radiate uranium even if they have not been used, by just being stored inside the Jewish Armory warehouses.
So I am asking you my dear friend; why is it so important for you to do this while “israel” is doing everything in its power to destroy the environment in the worst possible way it knows?
Believe me, long term peace will be far more healthy to all the people there than recycling 2 boxes full of used batteries.
Let’s stop pretending that “Israel” is not pure 3rd world. Please!
Greetings
Worthwhile topic.
There’s an Excel file that lists many venues that house battery containers. One guy has a phone # listed. http://www.jerusalem.muni.il/jer_sys/publish/files/1030/142214126.xls
Most photo places have a battery deposit box as does the OU Israel Center downtown.
Neighborhood recycling containers: http://www.jerusalem.muni.il/jer_main/defaultnew.asp?lng=1
A large range of items can be taken to the Jerusalem Recycling Center in Givat Shaul. 02-6535944 http://www.jerusalem.muni.il/jer_main/defaultnew.asp?lng=2
(Scroll down to “Green City” designation.)
Addendum: As it sounds as though you can’t easily get to the site near Beit Shemesh designated for disposing of e-waste, ask whether the Givat Shaul site ever accepts such items for transfer to elsewhere.
Good luck!
I’m going to post also for the Tel Aviv area http://sf.tapuz.co.il/shirshur-174-146817957.htm in case someone from the center stumbles across this later on.
