Check http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article02-010 for anything other than XP
For XP, check http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000543.htm
For more info, google “rename recycle bin”
(and, No: Microsoft will not come and hunt you down!)
click start-> run -> regedit
go to: HKEY_USERSS-1-5-21-436374069-1390067357-839522115-1003SoftwareMicrosoftWindowsShellNoRoamMUICache
There on the right panel you should see a string containing the value “recycle bin”. Double click on it to rename. After that press F5 when you are focused on desktop(F5=refresh)

This will be same for xp/vista/windows 7
If you are using Vista or windows 7 you can launch the “Run” by pressing Windows key and “R” keys together.
I haven’t read about any particular issue reported by Microsoft regarding this.
I suggest you do more experiments and personalization like this. It will create more interest at your side on computers. Who can say one day u may invent something of ur own!
