I have a dell inspiron laptop and every time i go to delete things (files, pictures, etc) they aren’t permanently deleted.
I put them in the recycle bin and empty it and their gone, but once a search is done with the file name they come up but they can’t be accessed because they have been “moved or deleted”.
Is there a way I can manually delete these things? I tried deleting them from the search window aswell but it dosn’t allow me.
Maybe you could try using a cleaning up program to help you with that? I recommend ccleaner. The url is below.
To delete a file, press shift and delete together. The file will not go to the recycle bin. It will be deleted permanently dear.
I think if you right click the recycle bin and go to properties there should be the option to just delete the files without putting them in the recycle bin.
There is a very good software helps your to remove everything that you dont need. it is call Your Uninstaller! 2008. You can try it for free. Go to download.com to get a tria version. Enjoy!
toshiba folio 100 tablet get Specifically, I live near Clifton so I’m wondering if there are any recycling places in that area. It’s just a laptop and a power cord so I really don’t want to have to pay for it. I haven’t been able to find any free community recycling events in this area in the near future.
You can try http://www.computerhope.com/disposal.htm or Rutgers University at http://www.cook.rutgers.edu/~wastemgmt/countylist.html
The first one also gives away refurbished computers to needy families.
