I’m connected to the internet, but it still says API unavailabe, and only gives me the option of launching it from the app store.
What could be wrong?

UGH, I hate when it does that. This happens when there is too much traffic on the app and it cant handle it. You just have to try again and again until it fully loads. You may have to wait a while. It’s best to use installous really late at night (like 12:00 or 1:00) cause there aren’t as many people on it.
It happens to me sometimes but all you have to do is off your wifi for ten seconds then on it again then it should work well
alright so I just fixed my problem. I had the same exact problem too. this is how you fix it.
step1- go to cydia – manage- packages then remove appsync after you do that turn off your device.
step 2- go to cydia – manage- sources : Hackulo.us install appsync 4.0+ once you install that, scroll down and install instalous 4.
step 3. youre done:D
